KOLD (Tucson) Weather Anchor Jaclyn Selesky’s fiance Jake Hermes has started a Gofundme page for Jaclyn.

On the page, Jake writes, “On August 16th, 2022, 10 days before our dream wedding in Colorado, which has now been postponed indefinitely, Jackie leaned over to kiss our dog Henry and was bit on the face. The next 24 hours were a blur and have been the most stressful and scary of our lives. Jackie was bit in the upper part of her right lip and lower part of her cheek. The results of the accident were devastating and have left her with a long road of plastic surgery and facial reconstruction ahead.”

Jake is asking for $75,000 to help pay her medical bills.

Does Selesky not have insurance through the station?

KOLD is owned by Gray Television, can’t Gray step up with the extra money needed outside insurance?

Selesky is expected to be out of work for the next 6 to 10 months. But isn’t there a disability claim that she can file?

There are a number of questions I have on this one.
