Gone in Denver

Back in Mid-February, FTVLive FIRST told you that KDVR/KWGN (Denver) was going to part ways with Weather Anchor Brooks Garner, who had only been hired less than two years ago at the Nexstar station.

Well, Garner finally announced that he is leaving the station, just as FTVLive FIRST told you.

Garner leaves at the end of May and he has been knocked down to the web department while he rides out his last days at the station.

“While I feel gratitude for FOX 31 for a great couple of years, I will be leaving the station at the end of this month in what will be a significant step in my career,” Garner said. “I can’t wait to share specifics on where we are going, and I’ll announce all the details on my social media pages in the next week or so.”

Garner has been replaced by Kylie Bearse, who as FTVLive again FIRST told you, crossed the street from KUSA.
