The Reason for the Move

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Josh Morgan the VP & General Manager of WREX in Rockford, Illinois was hired to be the new web manager at Meredith’s WGCL in Atlanta.

We thought it was a strange move for a GM, but, as many of you pointed out, his wife, former WREX Evening Anchor Kristin Crowley is moving to Atlanta as a Reporter for Tegna’s WXIA.

So, if you are keeping score.

The GM at the station was married to the main Anchor.

Now the Web Manager at one station will be married to the Investigative Reporter at a competing station.

This is one crazy-ass business.
