BREAKING! Gray to Buy Meredith Stations

FTVLive was the FIRST top tell you that Meredith was going to sell their TV stations.

Back in January we FTVLive told you that don’t be surprised if Gray Television is the buyer of the stations.

This morning it was announced that Gray is in fact buying the Meredith stations.

Meredith announced that Gray will buy the stations for $2.7 billion in cash. The transaction was unanimously approved by Meredith's and Gray's Board of Directors.

The sale is good news for people working at Meredith TV stations, as they will now move to a company that is more focused on local news and much better financially.

Gray has become one of the better TV ownership groups out there.
