BREAKING! CBS Hires Consultant as Miami News Director

There is an old belief that TV Consultants are just consulting until a News Director job opens up.

So often you see News Directors lose their job, become consultants and then land another News Director job, often for one of the stations that were consulting for.

CBS announced that they have hired Magid Consultant Kerri Cavanaugh as the next News Director at WFOR in Miami.

Before going to Magid, Cavanaugh was the News Director at WTTV and WXIN the CBS Television Network and Fox affiliates in Indianapolis, from 2014-18.

 She now takes over the news department at the struggling CBS O&O in Miami.
