Changes at the Top in Milwaukee

WDJT announced that General Manager Mark Strachota is retiring and he’s being replaced with someone from across the street.
Strachota joined the Weigel station back in 2014. He also came from across the street from WTMJ.
Now, Strachota is being replaced by Anne Brown, who is coming from WITI in the market.
Brown has been director of strategy and marketing at Fox network affiliate since 2008. Before that, she held newsroom and content development positions at WITI as well as at WUSA in Washington, D.C., and WBNS in Columbus, Ohio.
“Anne knows Milwaukee well and is committed to broadcasting,” said Weigel Broadcasting VP Steve Farber. “We look forward to serving our viewers through the election season and in the years ahead with a deepening emphasis on local content.”
