Caught on Camera

A WCMH (Columbus) Photographer caught a burglary as it happened right across the street from the station.

Video shot by the Photographer shows a vehicle waiting outside the store while another person was inside. The glass doors of the store were broken out just before the video started.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows a brick thrown through the glass door. A man in a sweatshirt comes in right after and takes a crowbar or similar item to the register. The suspect takes the cash drawer and leaves.

It’s not often that a simple burglary makes the newscast, but, it’s ratings and you have the video, so of course it’s news.
