Another example of a station trying to be first, instead of right.

The big story in Colorado Springs is that 11-year-old Gannon Stauch is missing and a massive search has been launched to try and find the boy.

At one point, KOAA went on the air with news that a body has been found:

Thankfully, there was no body found and the search for Gannon Stauch goes on.

KOAA apologized for the error.

Maybe next time, the station will be more interested in confirming, before reporting.
