I found myself many times in 2019 saying that no one has done more to divide this country than cable news.

Not Donald Trump (although he has done a lot) not the Democrats, not the Republicans, but cable news.

Tune into Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, Chris Cuomo on CNN, or Tucker Carlson on Fox News and you will see hate just spewed at the other side.

But, no one can hate more than Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Hannity has Trump’s ear and he fills it with pure hate for the left and everything that it stands for. Gone are the days when you saw Ronald Reagan and Speaker of the House Tip O’Neil come together and compromise for the good of the American people.

Hannity is the No. 1 show in cable news, but he often talks to an audience of one.

Hannity has the power to change Trump’s outlook on almost anything. Hannity could use that power to try and help bring this country together, but instead, he uses it to divide us more and more.

Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Brian Stelter and others at CNN are also working to divide this country, but they don’t have the viewers, nor the President’s ear, so basically they are just noise.

From the dawn of time, people have had different views on many things and including politics. But, we have never lived in a time where there was so much flat out hatred for the other side.

It is so sad that the United States of America is anything but United and you can blame cable news and people like Sean Hannity for that.

That lands Hannity at the No. 2 Worst person in TV news for 2019.
