Well, At Least it Was the Traffic Report

TV consultants tell you that weather is the most important thing in your newscasts.

But, oftentimes stations let comics, athletes, or animals do the forecast because they think it is fun.

The Blue Man Group stopped by KDFW in Dallas and the station let them play around during the newscast. But, to the station’s credit, they let them clown around during the traffic report and not during weather.

Since Traffic is one of the least useful things on the newscast, we’ll let this one slide.

The segment would have been better if they were funny.

Oh well, you can’t have it all.
