Running For Office

Back in 2018, FTVLive FIRST told you that WCHS (Charleston, WV) Jim Barach had gone missing from the Sinclair station.

Turns out Barach was fired and sued the station and Sinclair for age discrimination.

His lawsuit is still winding through the court system but in the meantime, Barach is moving onto the next chapter.

He tells FTVLive that he has decided to run for the West Virginia House of Delegates, District 36.

“I have always had a keen interest in politics and decided this is how I can best get back into the public eye and continue to work in the interest of the people in my community,” Barach tells FTVLive.

Primary day is May 12th and he says that is his focus.

No word if he will buy any ads on his old station.
