Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s grandson has been charged with the brutal beating of his girlfriend. The details can be found here.

The Cleveland Mayor released a statement denying any involvement in criminal investigations of his grandson.

For some reason, Tegna’s WKYC thought this statement by the Mayor would make for a funny bit for their new comedian they hired Mike Polk.

You know, cause what is funnier than a girl being beaten almost to death?

Polk goes on to rip the video because the framing was bad and you could see the mic cord by Mayor’s tie. I mean this is hilarious stuff, right?
