Anchor Missing in Houston

Back on August 13th, FTVLIve told you about some anchor changes going done at Tegna’s KHOU in Houston.

We reported that WCNC (Charlotte) Anchor Xavier Walton was headed to Houston to solo anchor the morning show. We wrote, “Word is that current morning Anchor Lisa Hernandez is getting demoted to weekends.”

Walton is supposed to start his new gig this week, but one station insider says Hernandez seems to have gone missing.

The source writes, “After you posted about the changes at KHOU she worked a few days after that and then didn't come back.”

The source says that no memos have gone out and they are wondering what has happened? Her bio is still listed on the station’s website.

But for a couple of retweets, Hernandez has not posted to her Twitter since August 16th.

So? What gives?
