EXCLUSIVE! Fox News Names New Windy City Bureau Chief
/EXCLUSIVE! FTVLive has learned that Jennifer Girdon has been named Chicago Bureau Chief for Fox News.
Girdon has worked her way up at Fox News, starting at the network as an intern in 1998 as an intern and then Executive Assistant at the Fox headquarters in New York.
In 2005, she moved to Los Angeles to be a Researcher in the LA Bureau and was promoted to Associate Producer a year later.
In 2007, staying at Fox News, Gridon became a Field Producer covering many big stories and she has also served as a coordinating producer for major events like presidential summits, hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Florence, among others.
Now she moves from LA to the Windy City as the Bureau Chief.
She replaces Denis King who recently retired.
