Yesterday, FTVLive FIRST told you that Jennifer Girdon has been named Chicago Bureau Chief for Fox News.

Now, FTVLive has obtained the internal memo sent out to the staff at Fox News:

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Girdon will be our new Chicago Bureau Chief.

Jennifer joined FOX News in 1998 as an intern and then Executive Assistant at headquarters in New York. In 2005, she moved to Los Angeles to be a Researcher in the LA Bureau and was promoted to Associate Producer a year later. In 2007, Jennifer became a Field Producer covering many major stories, including the 2016 race for the White House. She has also served as a coordinating producer for major events like presidential summits, hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Florence, among others.

We appreciate Jennifer's contributions to the network and congratulate her on her new role as Chicago Bureau Chief.
