DC Reporter Taken to the Hospital

WUSA9 Reporter Peggy Fox was sent out to cover a story and ended up in the hospital.

Fox was working on a story in Herndon, VA when she was overcome heat exhaustion and dehydration.

Fairfax County paramedics took her by ambulance to Reston Hospital Center where she received fluids in the ER. The paramedics had already given her fluid in the ambulance because she had thrown up, and her glucose and blood pressure were low.

She posted about her episode to social media and the worst part? Her story never made it to air.
