If It Doesn't Fit, You Throw a Fit
/WACH (Columbia, South Carolina) Traffic Anchor Natalie Parsons ordered a tank top from a company called Hippie Runners.
Now, Parsons can't help the fact that she has a "tiny" body that that the tank top she ordered too big and that the company does not make one the perfect size for her. So, she decided to trash the company on her professional Twitter account and asked her followers to retweet her rants so that she could get her money back.
The company offered to give her store credit, but for Parsons, that was just not good enough. What....you expect to buy a "hand band" that she will NEVER wear. You're crazy.
It got bad enough that Hippie Runner finally ended up emailing the station about Parsons' social media rants. FTVLive has obtained the email that the company sent:
Hi,
We own a small online business in Myrtle Beach. One of your employees, Natalie Parsons, recently made a purchase from us. She was dissatisfied with her purchase and didn't like what we offered her. She continued to send us a threatening email stating "Do I have to come to Myrtle Beach and handle this accordingly?" This is very troubling and extremely threatening for a small business. She has also contacted us through her verified facebook page which we had to report since she tracked down our personal pages and started harassing us through them. We have all copies of her emails if you would like to see them. We do not ever contact a customers employer but since she contacted us via her verified page associated with this station we assumed that this was appropriate.
Thank You
Sean

Look, social media is a great outlet to take a company to task for for bad service. But, a talent on TV should not use their professional page call out a business or company. Also, if the company policy is they give "store credit" on all returns, then that is the policy. If you don't like the policy, don't shop at the store. Simple as that.
Also, rallying viewers to retweet your post, just because you have a personal beef with a company is just plain wrong and if I was Ms. Parsons' News Director, I can assure you we would have a conversation about that.
If you guys agree, please share this on social media!!! You can use the links at the bottom on this story on the right hand side.
