Executive Bolts Scripps Heads Back to News

Sources tell FTVLive that Cater Lee, the vice president of programming of Scripps is leaving the company to become the VP of News for Spectrum LA. 

Lee joined Scripps for the second time back in 2015 as the VP of programing, she was also the senior director of TV program development for the Scripps from 2011-2014.

Although Lee has spent years in programing, she does come from a news background. Lee began her television career as a journalist. She was a news anchor, reporter and producer and worked in the Los Angeles and Phoenix markets.

She also produced for NBC’s Today Show and CNN.
