We haven’t done one of these in a while and they always seem to be popular with the readers of FTVLive.
Today, FTVLive is going to look at the 10 best stations in the country to work for.
They might not be in the biggest markets and they might not be No. 1 in the ratings, but when you are looking for a job, you can count on these stations being a good place to work.
Now, I should point out that no TV station, just like no person is perfect. But, these places are good places to work.
How we come up with the stations on our list?
We looked at management, ownership, the market as a whole and how the station covers the news. We talked to people in and around the industry and knocked our list down to 10. Clearly, there is more than 10 good stations in the country, but we try to give you a look at the best of the best.
The countdown starts at 7AM and will continue each hour throughout the day.
Enjoy!

Tomorrow’s FTVLive is going to be a special edition and it has been quite a while since we have done one of those.
Before the internet, it was always hard for people working in TV news to know if a station was a good station or crap. There were reputations, but you really were taking a shot in the dark when you accepted a job at a new station.
Now, with the internet and thanks to sites like FTVLive and others, people can do some homework and try and get more details on a particular station.
Tomorrow, FTVLive is going to help you a bit more in that effort. We will be naming the top 10 TV stations to work for in the country.
It should be interesting, to say the least.
But right now, let’s do some news…..
