WTHR (Indianapolis) Photographer Alex Almanza was returning to the station after covering a story.

Almanza heard a loud meowing coming from the station parking lot. After looking around he found the source of the meowing. The Shooter found a kitten stuck in the engine of one of the station's cars.

Almanza called out a few others from inside the station to help him rescue the cat from the car. Once inside, the crew helped clean off grease on the kitten.

Almanza adopted the kitten and says it’s doing well.

BTW- FTVLive also rescued a kitten trapped inside a car engine. Bo just celebrated his 3rd birthday and is living his best life.
