That is a Big Market Drop

Many of you likely don’t remember the name Mark Mester.

Mester was the KTLA Anchor who got all bent out of shape when his co-anchor Lynette Romero left the station with no chance to say goodbye (Romero ended up crossing the street).

Mester went off on the Nexstar station on air and lost his job.

He went into a sales job and tried posting some stuff on social media, but it didn’t go well.

In one social media video, he made it clear that he had no interest in returning to TV news.

Well, guess what?

Mark Mester returned to TV news, but he dropped a hell of a lot of markets to do it.

Mester resurfaced at KMIR in tiny Palm Springs.

He ate cake on the air because that’s what you do in Palm Springs.
