And....Speaking of TV Salaries

Nexstar’s WFLA (Tampa) did a story about the amount of money you need to make to live in Florida.

Quoting the station’s story, “According to MIT’s living wage calculator, the required annual income before taxes for a single adult in Florida is $46,645 or $22.43 an hour.”

I’m wondering, do you think everyone working at WFLA is making at least $22.43 an hour?

FTVLive talked to two WFLA employees who are nowhere near that range.

It sucks when a station won’t pay the living wage, but it sucks more when they do a story on what the living wage is.

I’m willing to guess that the person that person that posted the story on WFLA’s website is not making $46,000 dollars.
