Back on March 30th,  FTVLive FIRST told you that WJXT was looking to part ways with longtime Sports Anchor Sam Kouvaris. 

After we reported the story that Kouvaris would be leaving the station, we got this email from a troll.

Well, guess what? 

WJXT has announced that Kouvaris is done at the station.

Sorry troll, but FTVLive was right again. 

WJXT general manager Bob Ellis and Kouvaris released a joint statement that insiders say took weeks to hammer out. 

Really? All for a statement? 

No one really cares what the statement says since the bottom line is Kouvaris is gone from the station that he joined in 1981. 

But, since it took them weeks to come up with a statement that both sides agreed upon, we will post it. Hate to see all that back and forth be wasted.
