"Major Embarrassment"

Brian Flood is supposed to be Fox News's answer to Brian Stelter over at CNN. 

Stelter spends most of his time attacking Fox News and President Trump. 

Fox News has hired Flood to be their attack puppy and NBC News appears to be his favorite target. 

Back in February, Flood wrote about the fact that Lester Holt was covering the Florida school shooting from South Korea, which is where Holt was based for the Olympics. 

At the time, Flood wrote about NBC's coverage, "....was an embarrassing contrast to rival networks ABC and CBS, who both had their premier anchors on the ground in Parkland, Fla., by Thursday morning."

FTVLive pointed out, it was unfortunate that Holt wasn't stateside, but far from "embarrassing."

Now, Flood is writing about NBC Nightly News loss to ABC World News in the demos. He writes, "In a major embarrassment for NBC anchor Lester Holt, ABC's “World News Tonight” soundly defeated Holt’s “Nightly News” in the ratings last week, scoring victories in both the desirable demographic of adults age 25-54 and in total viewers."

Which begs the question, does Flood have another word other than "embarrassing" when talking about Holt and NBC?

Is Holt really that embarrassed? He doesn't look like it. 

When Racheal Maddow beats Sean Hannity in the demos, is it a "Major Embarrassment" for Hannity and Fox News? 

We get that Fox News wanted to hire a lapdog to try and bite the competition. And we get the fact that Howard Kurtz is all but useless, so they had to find someone else. 

But, couldn't they have found someone that is less.....you know....embarrassing?
