Shuffling Off From Buffalo

When WGRZ (Buffalo) Sports Anchor-Reporter Jonah Javad announced he was leaving for a job in Dallas, the question was what impact that would have on his girlfriend, WIVB Anchor-Reporter Nalina Shapiro.

We now know the answer. 

Shapiro is leaving the Nexstar station to follow her boyfriend to Dallas.

She told her co-workers that she plans on leaving the station at the end of the book. 

Shapiro joined the station 8 years ago and was anchoring the 5:30 and 10PM newscasts. 

"We're sorry to see her go and we wish her well," said WIVB GM Dominic Mancuso. "She's done a great job for this station."

Shapiro tells colleagues that she is pursuing a job outside of television in Dallas.

Smart woman.
