Are the ABC O&O's quietly phasing out humans?

Sources tell FTVLive that the O&O's have been using robots to write stories for the station's websites.

The company is using a program called "Hoodline".

Here is an example of a Hoodline story on WPVI's (Philly) website.

Hoodline scans Yelp, apartment sites and other review sites to "create" stories from the scans. It then publishes the stories on its own to the sites.

No mention a human had nothing to do with it.

It appears to be a long way from writing a "real" story but it's a first step.

And the Hoodline Robot doesn't ask for days off or overtime.
