Meredith owned KVVU in Las Vegas has gotten into bed with hard right "Investigative Journalist" and that has many station staffers a bit uneasy.

KVVU News Director Cristi Jessee has been spending time with hard Right Reporter Laura Loomer.

Loomer is a former Project Veritas operative and among some of her claims:

-She believes local journalists are paid by the FBI/ CIA to cover up for the big money casinos.

-She has gotten into multiple "Twitter feuds" with legitimate journalists in the Las Vegas market because they are "MSM." This includes rallying her thousands of followers to send insults to local Vegas Reporters.

-She is infamous for recently getting banned by both Uber + Lyft for her islamophobic online posts.

-On November 8, 2016, the day of the national election, Loomer went to a polling station dressed in a burqa and asked for a ballot under the name of Huma Abedin.

Sources tell FTVLive that last week, Jessee told the staff at KVVU that, "Laura Loomer is doing a better job than any reporter we have."

Needless to say, the staff was not happy that they were being compared to Loomer.

Insiders tell FTVLive that Jessee originally planned on meeting with Loomer inside the FOX5 studios. Instead, due to the backlash, they agreed to meet somewhere off site. Multiple employees were called into Jessee's office and scolded for raising objections.

Jessee has been also praising Loomer on Twitter and the station recently did a story using Loomer as the source.

Now, the fear inside KVVU is Loomer's role at the station could grow.

Sources tell FTVLive that Reporters and anchors have been called into a mandatory meeting on Wednesday to address the situation involving Loomer's involvement at FOX 5.

Because Loomer is unemployed, there is fear that she could be hired by FOX5 management despite her incredibly biased and divisive views.

You would hope that Meredith does not sign off on hiring a racist to their staff, but then again you never know.
