A longtime Texas Anchor is putting TV News in the rearview...
After nearly 18 years at KTXS (Abilene) Anchor George Levesque is leaving the station.
As Sinclair takes over the station, Levesque says he's leaving for his dream job (just a coincidence?) in theatre.
Levesque will join the historic Paramount Theatre. He will join the staff on Dec. 1 and then take over as executive director in June.
“It has been my immense privilege to work at KTXS for the last 17 1/2 years,” George said. “I started here as a young man in my 20s and have spent most of my adult life at this station. I’ve been very fortunate to work with this group of men and women, and thank KTXS for the opportunity to serve in so many important roles over these years.”
He signs off at the end of the November book.
