Headed to The Music City

Longtime WHO (Des Monies) GM Dale Woods is leaving the sticks and headed to Nashville. 

Meredith announced today that Woods will be the new vice president and general manager at WSMV Nashville, after spending 10 years in Iowa (Must have felt like 100). 

Woods replaces Doreen Wade, who retired in June, as head of Meredith's only NBC affiliate station.

Woods is getting the hell out before Sinclair comes in. WHO is a Tribune station, which is being bought up by Sinclair.
