Connecticut Weatherman Returns Home

He's still off the air, but WTNH meteorologist Gil Simmons is back home from the hospital.

Simmons has been off the air since being hospitalized on July 5 for an undisclosed health issue.

He took to social media to say that he is back home recuperating. 

"Thanks to your prayers & support, I'm home!" wrote Simmons. "Still some healing & recovery to go."

He has not announced when he will return to the WTNH-TV airwaves, but concerned fans are telling him that as much as they miss him, he should take his time and fully recover before returning.
