Nexstar to Take Away Employees Phones

Can you hear me now?

Sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar is demanding employees of the old Media General stations that they took over to hand in their phones. 

Media General gave most staffers a station cellphone to use, but Nexstar looks at that as a waste of money and wants many to turn on their phones. 

Managers are getting to keep their phones, but pretty much everyone else must hand theirs in to the company. 

If I was a Reporter that was told to hand in my phone, I would refuse to use my own phone for any work related calls and refuse to give the station my phone number for my personal cell.

Just saying....
