Turning Your Nose Up to Small Markets

Reporter Varisa Lall Dass is now working at the Cox duop here in Jacksonville, Florida.

Before coming to Fla, she was working in the small market of Tupelo, Mississippi. And it didn't take her long to stick her nose up in the air when it came to small market TV.

Check out this post she made to her Facebook in which she basically thumbs her nose at her old station in Tupelo and everyone that works there.

Yes, it is great to have two person crews. But, for many small market stations, that is a luxury they can no longer afford.

Calling the stations "cheap" and less "quality" is a low blow to dish out.

I'm sorry to tell you this Varisa, but I can show you stories done by one man band MMJ's that would blow your reporting out of the water.

Just because you have a Photographer, does not mean you are better than everyone else.

And one day, Karma is going to bite you in the ass for acting that way.

Or, maybe it just did.
