Demoted in the Twin Cities

After 8 plus years as the Main Anchor at KTSP (Minneapolis), Bill Lunn is being knocked down to just a Reporter. 

“I am not anchoring anymore,” Lunn said.

Asked if he was disappointed in the demotion, Lunn decided to play it safe. “The Hubbards have been great to me,” he said, referring to KSTP’s owners, Hubbard Broadcasting. “I always wanted to be a reporter,” Lunn said.

As a Reporter, he will focus on his ongoing interest in veterans and military issues.

Lunn began his career as a reporter and then an anchor for a Duluth station before moving to Memphis, where he worked as the evening news anchor at WPTY.
