Bumped Up at Sinclair

Sources tell FTVLive that Sinclair Broadcast Group regional ND, Jeff Parsons, is getting somewhat of a promotion.

Parsons was reportedly offered a job outside Sinclair at KGO-TV as managing editor (even though he hasn’t worked in a newsroom since 2007), but when Sinclair threw Regional ND Jen Dahl under the bus in a story that FTVLive first broke, that created a new opening with a bigger territory.

Word is, Parsons is getting Dahl’s territory which is the West coast and staying with Sinclair. That means, Parsons gig will be open in Texas.

We have to wonder how many people will be jumping up to volunteer for that job, given they’d have to work in close proximity to John Seabers.
