Do you Know What 'Confirm' Means?

Yesterday was not a good one for TV news anchors on Twitter.

NBC's Chuck Todd tweeted himself into a big hole that he is still trying to dig himself out from. Todd.  

But, Fox News also embarrassed themselves on social media. 

Sheprad Smith and his brand spanking new 'Breaking News Team' broke the big news that shots were fired at the White House. In fact they "Confirmed" the story.

Not longer after Shep's Breaking News Team posted the Tweet, they pulled a Chuck Todd and Deleted it. 

Turns out those "confirmed" shots at the White House were just firecrackers. 

It was then time for the Twitterverse to have a bit of fun at Shep and Fox News's expense:
