KTVU says Sorry...again
/Yesterday, KTVU in San Francisco made a mistake that will likely plague the station for years.
Again in an effort to be first, the station received what they thought were the names of the flight crew of Asiana flight 214.
The station then called the NTSB and talked to an Intern who claimed the names were correct.
The station admits that they "rushed the names on our noon newscast." And in doing so, they made a an on air blunder that they station might not ever live down."
After the on air gaff, the station issued an apology, but in that apology they seemed to try and pass the buck.
Last night on their late newscast, they issued a second apology and this time they took full blame.
