The Blowback Continues Towards Nexstar Station

Last week, FTVLive told you that Nexstar’s KTLA (Los Angeles) posted a racial slur on their social media and then came up with a farfetched excuse as to why they did that.

Days later, the station is still being taken to task on social media.

On Sunday, they posted this story about a shooting in Long Beach.

At the time we looked at this post by KTLA, every response directed at them was about their racist post.

Just some examples.

It was like this on many of their posts.

The community is rightfully pissed and KTLA would be wise to just stop posting on social media for the next couple of weeks.

The station screwed up and they need to own it. Also, an apology should be pinned to the top of all their social media and at the top of their website. It’s like KTLA just wants to sweep it under the rug.

The mistake is bad, the reaction from the station is even worse.
