Where Have I Heard That Before?

Lockwood Broadcast Group has named a new GM at WFXG in Augusta, Ga.

Surprise, the company went with a middle-aged white guy. Brad Hargrove has been appointed the new General Manager.

He succeeds Chastity Scott.

When WFXG hired Scott just a couple of years ago, Lockwood Broadcast Group President Dave Hanna said of Scott, “I’m confident Chastity will bring to Augusta the same dynamism, business savvy, and community support she’s demonstrated over her impressive career.

In the hiring of Hargrove, Hanna said, “I’m confident that Brad will bring Augusta the same level of success as he has demonstrated over his impressive career.”

I don’t know about you, but I think they need to update the template on new GM hires.
