We Don't Do That...

Thanks to being highlighted on FTVLive, WTTG Reporter Sierra Fox’s TikTok on being “harrassed” received nearly 700,000 views, which is more than half a million more than her usual posts.

Fox’s original post was all about her and her need for attention. She was also tasked with trying to explain a post that some thought was racist.

Well, Fox is staying atop the dead horse and trying to beat it a few more times. She’s back with another post, in which the business she ambushed wanted to be paid for an interview.

“We don’t do that,” Fox said on her TikTok.

But what she does do is post on TikTok and use the business to get some clout.

Is that different from paying for an interview?

Food for thought.

@thesierrafox Many have asked if Fox 5 DC directly spoke with Canna Coffee’s owner, Greg Harris. The answer is no because he wanted money. This is the interaction that happened when I showed up the business asking for a statement about the viral video showing Harris yelling at a Uber Eats food delivery driver because he doesn’t speak English. This man - who never specifically identified himself, but said he represented Canna Coffee - opened the door and asked if he could pay me to share their story the way they want. As you can see, I refused and later got a text from that same person saying he’ll negotiate to get me an exclusive interview because Harris would not talk without a fee. We do not do that as a local news entity. #fox5dc #fox5 #fox #anchor #anchorlife #reporter #reporterlife #news #nightside #nightlife #storytelling #story #report #police #investigate #harassment #assault #hatecrime #racist #discrimination #ubereats #uber #uberdriver #latino #hispanic #hispanicheritagemonth #washingtondc #dc #virginia #maryland #thesierrafox #fyp ♬ original sound - Sierra Fox
