Officially Out at Fox Weather (Updated)
/Back in May, FTVLive told you that Fox Weather morning anchor Jason Frazier was missing from the air.
We reported that sources told FTVLive that Frazer was told his contract is not being renewed, and he was sitting on the sidelines until his contract was up.
Well, his contract is up and Frazer took to social media to officially announce that he was gone from Fox Weather, despite the fact he has been off the morning show for months.
In his post, Frazer makes it sound like it was all his idea to leave Fox. As for Fox, they would not comment when he asked about his absence.
So, do I buy his post about leaving?
I do not.
But hey, if it makes him feel good, and Fox is undoubtedly happy with this narrative, then so be it.
But, as I like to say, I might have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night.
Update: Months later Fox now is commenting on his exit.
"Jason Frazer has decided to pursue other opportunities and we thank him for his contributions to Fox Weather. Over the past three years, his contributions included leading a documentary on turbulence called Fasten Your Seatbelts and helping to cover several weather events including Hurricane Ian, the New Jersey earthquake, Tropical Storm Harold, and the solar eclipse. We wish Jason much success in his future endeavors."
