EXCLUSIVE: Shots Fired Near St. Louis News Crew

It was a very scary moment for a St. Louis news crew.

Sources tell FTVLive that a crew from Gray-owned KMOV was on the scene doing a follow-up on a deadly shooting.

FTVLive has obtained video of Reporter Nathan Vickers standing at the scene when the sound of several gunshots could be heard.

Vickers and the Photographer started running away from the area.

A station source tells FTVLive that they are concerned that station management is trying to keep the incident quiet.

“Do they want to keep it quiet because it is conducive to creating a legal precedent regarding reporters being sent into dangerous areas on a daily basis?” one insider said to FTVLive.
