What Happened to Digital First?

In Houston, a heinous murder of a 12-year-old girl has captured nationwide media attention.

One of the two suspects was in court Monday morning for a bond hearing. The cable news nets had a live feed from the courthouse.

The suspect was ordered held on a $10 million bond, but you won’t know that from the local stations in Houston.

The screenshots below were taken more than an hour after the bond was announced. There were no updates advancing the story.

What happened to owning the big story?
