Memphis Reporter Dead at 38

Gray’s WMC (Memphis) reported that Digital Journalist Amanda Hanson has died.

Hanson was just 38 years old.

The station says that Hanson was the driving force behind the Action News 5 Digital Desk.

In a story posted on the station’s website, WMC says that she was recently married; they did not give a cause of death.

Before WMC, Hanson worked at KAIT (Jonesboro, AK). KAIT also reported on Hanson’s death and said that the Journalist suffered from a “medical emergency earlier this week and died from complications.”
