/Sinclair’s KGAN/KFXA (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) was not able to get their newscasts on the air Saturday, after what they say were “technical problems.”
A source tells FTVLive that the station had hardware issues after a “slew of upgrades”.
The big problem was the NFC Playoff game was on their Fox affiliate, which means you had a lot of eyeballs that could be sampling the newscast.
The news department did do a mini newscast on Instagram.
