News 12 News Director is Out

Sources tell FTVLive that News 12 New Jersey News Director Teisha Parker has left her position.

Parker was at the station just over a year.

News 12 insiders say that she's taken a job as Assistant News Director at NBC Connecticut. She was previously the Assistant News Director at WTIC.

A source tells FTVLive that during her departure announcement, she said she was leaving to be closer to family, as her husband and children were living in Massachusetts.

“She split her time between New Jersey and Massachusetts, never fully committing to NJ. This left many people in the newsroom frustrated-- as it never felt like she was truly invested,” the source said.
