Bounced in Rochester

James Wilcox anchored the news on KAAL (Rochester, MN) for over seven years before he left for a TV gig in Omaha.

But in May of last year, Wilcox returned to KAAL, and the station made the return a big deal. KAAL even went so far as to strategically place a billboard with Wilcox's picture on it near competitor KTTC.

But now, just over a year after his big return, Wilcox has been exited from the station.

According to a station insider, they tell FTVLive that, “first, he posted something to social media that was considered "naughty". Then, he's had it out with co-anchor Robin Wolfram over her just coming in to anchor newscasts while he does all the work otherwise. This ended up involving a shouting match with GM Rhonda LaVelle and she tossed him.”

His bio has been scrubbed from the station’s website.

No word on what has happened to that billboard.
