Moving to Full-Time in Dayton

Back in May, FTVLive told you about WHIO and how its weather department was down to just a single Met.

FTVLive told you that Britley Ritz who has been working freelance for CNN is coming back to Dayton to try and help fill the holes at WHIO.

Now, that freelance gig at WHIO has become a full-time job.

The Cox station announced that Ritz is now the morning meteorologist for WHIO.

“Britley became such a valued member of the Storm Center 7 Team, we had to ask her to stay on with us,” said WHIO News Director Joe Cowan. “She’s a wonderful addition to our morning team and we know that viewers trust her to start the day with the weather information they need.”
