Signing Off in Phoenix

Olivia Fierro, co-anchor of "Good Morning Arizona" on KPHO/KTVK, has announced her departure from the station.

Fierro, who also hosts "Olivia's Book Club," shared the news on her social media accounts, revealing that her final show will air on Thursday.

In a social media post, Fierro expressed a range of emotions as she embarks on new professional endeavors. She admitted feeling excited, grateful, sentimental, hopeful, and even a little giddy when she first made the decision to explore new opportunities. However, as the calendar pages turned, the reality of her departure set in, bringing a mix of emotions, including self-doubt and fear of change.

Fierro joined the station in 2015. Her journey with the station began in 2003 when she joined as a news reporter after working in Amarillo, Texas. In 2009, Fierro left for Las Vegas but later returned to the station as an Anchor.

Although Fierro did not disclose her next career move in her social media posts, she did express her anticipation of cherishing her remaining days with her remarkable local team.
