A Memory to Last a Lifetime
/Gray’s KSFY, Dakota News now had some “kids” at the station for “Media Camp.”
This is what the station wrote about their “campers.”
That's a wrap on the Dakota News Now Media Camp. Campers spent the final day producing their own mini-newscasts. It was five days of intensive, hands-on learning about what it takes to work in broadcasting and journalism. It’s a week the campers will always remember.
All proceeds from this program go to KSFY's partners at the Washington Pavilion to help support their various programs for the cultivation of the arts and theater in Sioux Falls.
We wanted to share this piece of feedback from Molly: "I can’t thank you enough for allowing my boys to share this experience! The boys came home and talked about how amazing it was. They also stated how genuinely kind everyone was. As a mom, I am feeling so blessed by your gift of time and experience. I hope you know you are making a difference in lives! This is a memory that will last a lifetime!”
Did the campers sleep out in the studio?
