Do you remember John Gustavo?

Of course, you don’t.

Gustavo is the Miami News Photographer who claimed he was fired from WPLG for stealing ratings from the station.

At the time of his firing, he posted to his Instagram story saying that he was fired because after he clocked out from work, he would go out and shoot his own breaking news stories and post them to social media.

He says that his work outside the station was taking away “eyeballs and ratings” from the station.

So, what is he doing now?

Well, he’s appearing in a “music video” shot outside the jail in Ft. Lauderdale.

This guy still bills himself as ‘the breaking news reporter” on Instagram. Which is a knock against Reporters, and for that matter, Instagram.
